Initially a Swiss NGO Program, Civil Society Human and Institutional Development Programme (CHIP), became a value-led national HID support organization. It has been working for more than decade in strengthening Civil Society Organizations working for the disadvantaged.

CHIP’s scope of work places the emphasis on Human and Institutional Development (HID). The rationale being that HID – is the foundation of any development strategy. It provides the framework as well as the fuel for translating ideas into action.

CHIP, being a value led oraganization, promotes its core values of honesty, dedication and commitment. The promotion of these values guides the modus operandi of CHIP.
