As per CHIP’s approach, HID services focus on the intermediate actors in the development delivery chain that convert development resources into improved lives or living conditions for target communities.
Since Civil Society Organisations are the intermediate actors that are closest to the ultimate beneficiaries of development efforts, they continue to be CHIP’s primary target / client group.
As the devolution of power towards local authorities increases, local government bodies are increasingly being charged with the responsibility for public development efforts and as such it is expected that the (local) government will become a client for CHIP’s service in the very near future.
CHIP’s services are also available to multi- and bilateral development organisations, NGOs and corporate entities that choose to channel their development efforts through others.
Strategic Partnership
Strategic alliances with larger local NGOs, like minded international NGOs and donors can be considered in order to increase both national and regional outreach and as learning opportunities on specific themes.
